Unathi in conversation with emerging musicians

Emerging artists are often asked to remain indefinitely in “development” without moving into the conditions that make professional careers possible.

This programme will focus on transition: paid orchestral experience, real credits, professional references, mentorship, responsibility and exposure to the standards and working practices of professional production.

Participants may include emerging instrumentalists, young soloists and artists crossing from formal study into professional life. The measure of success is not participation alone. It is whether the opportunity strengthens the artist’s ability to secure the next one.
