ORCHESTRAL ARTS AFRICA

International Collaboration & Co-production

International partnerships should be built for continuity — creating relationships, knowledge, repertoire and future opportunities that extend beyond one production or exchange.

The international programme will support inbound and outbound artistic collaboration: visiting conductors and orchestras, residencies, joint commissions, co-productions, cultural diplomacy and Africa–international partnerships.

The objective is reciprocity. International work should create relationships, artistic knowledge, professional credits, visibility and future projects on both sides — not merely a photograph of cultural exchange.

Orchestral Arts Africa will use international partnership strategically to strengthen its core programmes, expand market access and connect South African orchestral practice to wider professional networks.
